Do you need to lose weight?  If so, you're not alone.  More than half of American adults are overweight and more than one in three are trying to lose weight.

Perhaps you're planning to try one of the many available weight loss products or services, but aren't sure which one is right for you. It's easy to feel lost in the maze of choices out there — each promising the best results.

At Health Specialists of Central Florida we offer a variety of ways for you to start your own weight loss journey.  The first step is to call and schedule a consultation with our Board Certified Physician and have a one on one consultation with our weight loss program co-ordinator. 

We offer three weight loss programs.  Choosing the correct one is an individual decision with guidence from our weight loss team.  They include prescription appetite suppressants, injectable hCG and natural supplements.  All programs must begin with the initial consultation.

Prescrition Appetite Suppressant Program

The prescription appetite suppressant we prescribe is Phentermine 37.5mg's and is taken by mouth once daily.  Using Phentermine along with a balanced diet and exercise program has been shown to be successful in the fight against obesity.  Phentermine is prescribed on a short-term basis, typically a few months, until good eating and exercise habits have been established.  Weekly weights and nutritional counceling is included in this monthly program.  Your 30 day supply of Phentermine is included in the program fee.

hCG weight loss program

The hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin) program consists of 3-Phase's.  In Phase 1, you will schedule an evaluation with our Board Certified Physician and have a one on one consultation with our weight loss co-ordinator.  You will be given a prescription for laboratory work which is mandatory prior to starting the hCG injections.  All details of the hCG diet will be discussed and all questions you may have will be answered.  Some patients fear that with the hCG alone that they will still overeat.  An appetite suppressant (Phentermine) can be prescribed for an additional fee.

In Phase 2 you will actually begin the hCG injections and start following the strict diet program.  You will return weekly for weights and to obtain your next weeks worth of medication.  Discussion with the weight loss co-ordinator regarding your past weeks journey will be discussed.

Phase 3 is when you have reached your goal weight and are ready to stop the diet.  You will then begin the maintenence program.  We will discuss with you all the details of how to successfully maintain your new weight loss.  If you feel you have more weight to lose, it will be dicussed with you at this time as your body needs short "rests" from the hCG injections.  After a brief resting period, you can return to Phase 2 of the program.

Natural Weight Loss Supplement Program

We offer a variety of Natural Organic Weight Loss Supplements for those of you not wanting to take prescription appetite suppressants or injecable medications.  Carb Fighters, Fat Blockers and organic appetite suppressants are just a few.  Weekly weights and nutritional counceling is included in this monthly program. Please check with our office for a complete listing along with prices
